I apologize for that. There is a lot of things to get done with such a large scope of GrangerHUb (from 1.3 code, to 1.3 assets, to the website, to game servers), there is a small number of GrangerHub developers with limited free time, which means we have to prioritize our focus often.
I do appreciate your feedback @Obani , and you make some good points that I am taking into consideration. We will be making a major announcement tomorrow, so stay tuned.
Sparky doesn’t want to release the multiprotocol code (tremded) because that is the only interesting thing of slacker.
Everything else isn’t knew and 1.3 is hot air. Without the multicode, sparky’s monopoly would be gone.
So why not ask the programmer who coded the tremded and ask him to release the code? I’m sure sparky didn’t code a single line. Lets end this pomposity…
the programmer has already explained why the code won’t be released until it and the community is ready. and why does it matter if @dGr8LookinSparky didn’t code any part of it ?
I can guarantee that not only did I code a single line for 1.3, but that I coded more than a single line for 1.3 . Additionally, many other developers coded more than a single line for 1.3.
We have recently released an alpha version of 1.3 which primarily has the new features/enhancements for the client, tremded, and installer/updater. Multiprotocol support for both the client and the server is among those features. Development of the client and the installer/updater will take place on our public repo, while the game logic code will continue to be developed on our private repo until the initial Tremulous 1.3 full release.
