Alright, now tracks LoopV2, loss_1, Win_1, Draw_1 are available as download.
10 to 6 seconds version

I think Iāll start by trying your most recent draw/win/loss tracks. Since they are short, should they run on a loop, or only play once (intermission could potentially last awhile)?
I thought of another case where music could be well placed. We are thinking of implementing a 5 second countdown when warmup is about to end, which among some other things, would include a center print count down message (the way it ends now, feels too abrupt. Anyways, I think a music track that would help set the mood for warmup ending and a match starting would go very well.
@dGr8LookinSparky, I still think that the music should play once, intermission is usually short, but when itās longer people shouldnāt be distracted from the chat.
I will try to make countdown music, I will let you know when it will be ready.
Good luck with the coding!
I have decided to experiment a little, try industrial metal genre. Tremulous is frantic and chaotic, metal will fit.

Warmup ending track, as ordered.
It ends at exactly 30 seconds, everything after is an audio trail.

@dGr8LookinSparky, a shorter countdown, ends at 10 sec mark, all else is the trail.

And with strange aeons even death may die.
Creepy and otherworldly piece of music.
This will make a rather interesting menu music choice.

Sounds awesome, man! Can you give āWith Strange Aeonsā a license we can work with? CC-BY-SA 4.0 or so?
So, are there any requests, things you want me to fix, or do?
Tomorrow Iāll have time to finally implement the support for a bunch of your music in-game, so we will see it in the action on Saturdayās dev games .
Thatās great to know:slight_smile:
I will have to be there that day.
So, here is my to do list:
Make sets of music for each team- aliens win/loss, humans win/loss, possibly Team specific draw.
Make welcoming music.
Remake countdown music.
Spectator music(?)
The work has already started, I have some ideas implemented, but those will be scrapped for multiple reasons.
Awesome ! Iām really liking how the countdown and intermission music is working out so far in-game (I still need to clean up the code a bit more for the countdown though), and Iām looking forward to hearing your new music @AutumnLegends , and getting it in-game .
Regarding spectator specific intermission music, I think that the winning teamās win music would work best for indicating if the humans or aliens won, but for stalemate/evacuation/draw, spectator specific music might be the way to go.
As a side note, there are two special cases of a draw, there is āEvacuationā which occurs if a draw vote passes, and then there is a āStalemateā which occurs if the time runs out. Should there only be one kind of draw music for both cases, or in addition to being team specific, should there be a distinction between an Evacuation and a Stalemate?
Hey, @dGr8LookinSparky!
I think, spectators should have their own music for the draw, otherwise they will hear the winners music.
On the stalemate the music should be shared with both teams, since no one won and nobody have earned victory.
Evacuation music will be different.
Also, is there a way to upload musical sketches somewhere you can see them, and give me feedback?
Thanks for reading,
AutumnLegends
Hi @AutumnLegends , the upload button in the post writing toolbar should allow for uploading most images.
In other cases, uploading an image to a third party site like http://imagebin.ca/ and then pasting the link to the image in its own line in a post should embed the image in the post.
A nice little ambient sound that could maybe work in darker area

EDIT: Thanks Cron for adding .mp3 and ogg support. Youāre the best ^^.
Got those two abominations up and running. I would like you to chose the style, should it be closer to the first, or the second?
These things are just placeholders, unless you want them to stay. Sorry, writing in a harry, itās a mess IRL
Hmm, difficult choice, I think Iām leaning more towards the second.
