This is a simple sturdy perch.

A robot falcon which attacks aliens on sight. Needs to be repaired between attacks. Can only be built or repaired on falcon perches. If there’s no perch for it to land on, hovers near some human structure. If the falcon is destroyed, you lose the BP that you have spent on it.

I like this idea but it seems like the more practical approach would be a simple ‘drone’ instead of a mechanical bird of prey.
