Human need a more reliable way to locate backup eggs and alien bases other than just structure idle sound (which can be missed due to footsteps and environmental sounds). I think that helmet should provide a creep concentration indicator, which should work like the Hot and Cold game, helping humans to find eggs without revealing their exact locations.

It should be possible to move structures without having to wait for full build times. This should be helpful for adjusting base layouts and to move the Reactor or the Overmind when the game has just started.

Maps should have multiple default base pairs. Players often stick to their default bases, at least at the start of the game, so a lot of variety potential is lost by having them at the same places every time.

As much as it saddens me and makes the name of the site meaningless, I think that Granger should be removed and all aliens should gain the ability to build instead. Humans can now freely switch between building and defense, why not aliens?

Alternatively, add buildables with legs and pincers which act like battle armor for Grangers! They should start losing health and eventually die when outside the creep range though so that it isn’t possible to attack with them.

The game should feel like a modern contraption that is not foreign to the smartphone age: localization, Unicode and emoji support would all be good.

Are you referring to multiple default layouts? We do have support fo thatr, we can create and save new layouts in-game, then specific layouts can be chosen when selecting a map (via map votes, or playmap, or in the rotation), additionally, at least with rotations, layouts can be randomly selected when the map loads.
Or are you referring to having single layouts with more than one starting default base for both teams (like in that double atcs map where both teams have two default bases, as an example, maybe not the best example)?

It’s not used though, the teams always start in the same locations every time a map is loaded.
