[Life Hack]Editing .bsp version without recompiling .map

Sup guys, i think all knows, if you try Run Tremulous map in RTCW/RTCWET then you 100% gonna upset, coz different versions…so how change version of already compiled map, without recompiling…

We Need:

  • Brain
  • Any HEX editor

so open .bsp in hex editor, in first line in index 04 you see some like 2E, so edit that to wut u want:

46 - 2E (Quake3/Tremulous)
47 - 2F (RtCW)
58 - 3A (CoD1, there is different also lumps, but i’ll leave it here)
