This is pretty much the documentation: https://github.com/discourse/discourse/blob/master/plugins/poll/README.md. We might add that information to the FAQ.
Currently, there doesn’t appear to be a plugin for a better poll system on Discourse. We plan on implementing a survey system somewhere on the website, perhaps it would be a good idea to allow GrangerHub members in general to create their own surveys on such a system, which would not only be far more user friendly and more comprehensive than Discourse’s poll system, but would also surpass the poll systems that other forum systems use.
