Your answers is same as I’m done building and cover base.

not bad but not good enough
@Hendrich calm down and unflag those posts, this isn’t a serious thread anyways and we’re not “fighting” Spamo most likely doesn’t care and neither do i, IZ A JOKE JAJAJAJAJ XD
I’d like to, but unfortunately the “seriousness” of a thread is irrelevant to the guidelines. If you’d like to continue this discussion, either PM me or bring it up (publicly) here.
Hendrich is Hendrich what a shame. bear
We need a new game type(s) is what you’re saying… Tremulous FFA / Tremulous TDM
I do appreciate when a very good player doesn’t just end a game before my team has had a chance to reach S3 however, not ending the game immediately in the 2-5 minutes means more fun IMO.
A real hight score however needs to exceed >1000; far to many ppl being proud of 100+ spree’s.
This isn’t on pub/club, irrelevant
I remember this (FFA) actually being a thing somewhere. It was a retarded clusterfuck where anyone who had tyrant camped wherever the spawns was. Such an idea needs some serious rework.
Increase the max to 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999998. Every kill now counts for 1000000000 multiplied by itself for every assist.
Now everyone will enjoy their brand new numbers inflated to the size of their epeen.
100+ is eh, 200-250 is commendable, 250-300 is great, 300+ is extremely rare and takes a special kind of game speed and size to achieve.
Lets put aside the fact that very often players who got high kill counts than the opposing team in a given match still lose the match (not saying that they don’t win matches with high kill counts, they do, but they also lose matches regardless). High kill counts can be obtained from situations that are not considered major accomplishments in terms of combat, such as from spawn camping, enemy feeding, and playing against significantly less skilled players in comparison.
In the cases of feeding and playing against significantly less skilled players one might make the argument that the match would not last long enough for the kill counts to get significantly high. However, there are two additional factors that can prolong the game for those kinds of kill counts to get high enough:
-
There are enough players on the opposing team that are skilled enough to make up for feeders and/or relatively less skilled players.
-
The “high kill count player(s)” are not really putting in the effort to achieve the goal that actually wins the match (kill all enemy spawns and any remaining survivors), inwhich achieving such a goal earlier would result in a lower kill count.
In cases of evenly matched teams with sufficient skill levels playing to achieve the goal that wins the match, what are the average kill counts? In such cases even with all highly skilled players, does anyone even get close to scoring 100, or even 50 for that matter?
>1000 == :godmode:
Once on an Fk vs. PMW scrim @ Niveus: Fk had a cumulative 100+ kills at the end of a human round (4v4). Though Fk lost said round it was an impressive number of kills for a single round of a scrim.
I can say admittedly that I have lost the majority of games in which I have whored to achieve 250+ kill scores. It is by no means a reflection of game priority or efficiency.
HOWEVER, amounting to 250-300+ kills within the span of fifty minutes is a feat not only coveted but very difficult, it is an entirely different objective. Tremulous was never meant for intense kill whoring and thus when you start to achieve insane K/T numbers it is only right you stretch them further. Achieving 250+ kills is more of a personal record rather than a commendable tremulous breakthrough. You have to be able to account for time, game size, and map control to be able to achieve 250+ kills. Kill whoring is by NO MEANS the ultimate goal, but it is definitely a skill to be honed and practiced.
Was Fk focusing on getting that high kill count? Additionly, you qualified that kill count with “cumulative,” what was the highest individual kill score an Fk player had in that particular match?
Fk did not go into said round attempting to achieve a record cumulative amount. It was done by Hero I believe with 60 some kills, Cerkitz followed with the second most amount of kills and then me.It was a result of the aliens (PMW) killing all of our nodes but not our RC + Arm + Medi in Niveus long hall. We held it down until 2 min before timlimit when we all died.
